The design was simple. It gave the flashlight a clip and an ergonomic bend so that it could be attached to a soldier’s body, leaving their hands free for fighting.

WEBJun 23, 2010 · Here's an example of the classic TL-122-C angle-headed flashlight, widely issued and used during WW2. Despite its age, it lit up first time when I loaded it with a couple of Duracells! This plastic bodied version replaced the earlier brass bodied type.

WEBFeb 7, 2020 · Looks like a commercial copy. I checked the OD website on flashlights and one of theirs also has a blank circle, and small hole in the metal attachment clip, in other words identical to this one. Some had manufacturers info in raised plastic on the end cap, others totally unmarked.

WEBApr 11, 2016 · This weekend I bought a TL-122 D anglehead Flashlight made by Niagara. It doesn't work. I've tried the bulb in another light and it works just fine. I'm thinking that the switch has gotten corroded and is no longer making contact.
