Remember the time before the Switch? The Japanese gaming company has always been on a rollercoaster ride when it comes to hardware success, after all. In 2001/2002 the company launched the Gamecube, its successor to the super-popular N64, and it was ultimately a flop – squeezed out by Sony's PlayStation 2 and the original Microsoft Xbox.

If you listen closely, it feels like you can hear the jingle of plastic and metal for Nintendo’s next console as its manufactured and assembled in faraway factories. You can almost sense its launch lineup coming into focus as the company’s developers prepare to put their finishing touches on whimsical new experiments.

For the first time ever, a game is confirmed to be in development for the unannounced future Nintendo console, believed to be the Switch 2.

Although Nintendo has yet to unveil its Switch successor, a couple of games are already supposedly slated to launch on the new system.
