Apple's iPhone 16 is launching without Apple Intelligence, but there's still a pretty simple way for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Pro owners to try it out — all you have to do is install the latest public iOS beta.

Anyone can install the new public beta, but you'll need an iPhone 15 Pro or a new iPhone 16 model to run Apple Intelligence.

On the iPhone or iPad, that’s Settings > General > Software Update, and you’ll want to tap Beta Updates and select iOS 18 Public Beta. On this screen, you’ll see your Apple Account. You can then search for the update and download it to install it once it hits your iPhone or iPad.
