Emma Raducanu ’s injury problems struck again as she retired from her Korea Open quarter-final against top seed Daria Kasatkina. The 21-year-old Briton had just lost the first set 6-1 when she withdrew having struggled with a foot issue.

Emma Raducanu has fired a warning to Daria Kasatkina ahead of their crunch clash at the Korea Open on Saturday morning. The tennis star has started to rediscover her mojo, having previously been sent crashing out of the US Open in the first round last month.

Like Raducanu, Yuan was also knocked out of the US Open in the first round, coming undone against Erika Andreeva, but she has had a good 2024 in general, winning her maiden WTA title at the ATX Open earlier this season and reaching a career-best ranking of 36 on the back of some solid displays.
